The Taberna, or Old Factory at Casa Herradura, built by Félix and Carmen López Rosales in 1870 was in full operation until 1963. It stills stands– a reminder of the determination and dedication to making only the finest tequila.
Reposado has a rich amber color with notes of cooked agave, vanilla and butter. This additional time spent resting in charred American White Oak barrels creates a smooth, sweet finish with a slight taste of spice.
